Hardware Configuration
- Boot from a linux usb; open a terminal; sudo lshw |less
Symptoms
System had audible clicking noises coming from the case. Worse when system under stress. Possible HD problem, fan problem?
To Do
- Attempt to upgrade BIOS
- Going to try to Reinstall Win7 to facilitate the flash
- Install Windows 10
Completed
- Backed up standard data, steam common folder, blizzard game files.
- Broke raid0
- Scanned 2 raid drives with spinrite –> AOK
