Planting Day Members Present - Truett, Juan, Lexy, Michael
We created our regolith by mixing:
- 3 parts regolith
- 1 part compost
- 1 part peat moss
- 1/2 part perlite
- 1/2 part vermiculite
We created our control by mixing:
- 2 parts compost
- 2 parts peat moss
- 1 part vermiculite
- 1 part perlite
Plantings
We planted several different types of potatoes which are labeled as:
- Potato A as Yukon gold with 4 pots
- Potato B as red norland with 4 pots
- Potato C as Harvest blend with 4 pots
- Potato D as Gold rush with 2 pots
- Potato E as Sweet potato with 2 pots
Protocol for Potatoes:
- Measure ground for Ph then write down results
- Measure ground for moisture then write down results
- 1 quart of water for the plant
- Write down any change in plant
